PROFILE

Dr. Bhoopalam is Chief, Hematology/Oncology Section at Hines VA Hospital and Professor in the Department of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Her research interests include Monoclonal Gammopathy and Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials; Myelodysplastic Syndromes: Laboratory and Clinical Correlation; Prostate Cancer Treatment and Prevention Clinical Trials; and Thrombosis. Through the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), Dr. Bhoopalam has conducted numerous clinical trial research projects at Hines VA Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center.
