Dr. Howard Greisler, a surgeon at Hines VA Hospital and Professor of Surgery and of Cell Biology Neurobiology and Anatomy at Loyola University Medical Center, is a highly respected researcher in the field of cardiovascular health. He has conducted many research projects on cardiovascular devices, myointimal hyperplasia, and angiogenesis and tissue engineering. Dr. Greisler has received funding for his research from many sources, including, the National Institutes of Health, American Red Cross, C.R. Bard Cardiovascular, PRIZM Pharmaceuticals, and Texas Biotechnology Corporation. Dr. Greisler has authored numerous journal articles on the findings of his research.
