Dr. David Leehey is Section Chief, Renal Hypertension Section at Hines VA Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Leehey's research interests include experimental diabetic nephropathy and anemia in kidney disease. Dr. Leehey has funded his research through a variety of funding sources including American Diabetes Association, Chicago Heart Association, Merck Medical School Grants Committee, National Institute of Health, VA Health Services Research & Development, and VA Merit Review. Dr. Leehey is the author of many articles which appear in various medical and scientific journals.
