CONSTANCE PACHUCKI, MD
Dr. Constance Pachucki is Chief, Infection Control Section at Hines VA Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at nearby Loyola University Medical Center. The focus of Dr. Pachucki's research includes AIDS, its clinical manifestations, and antiviral therapy; the epidemiology, rapid diagnosis, and treatment of influenza; and treatment of M. Tuberculosis. She has participated is numerous clinical trial research studies that test new pharmaceuticals in the treatment of AIDS, Influenza A and B, and tuberculosis. Dr. Pachucki has received competitive awards from a variety of funding agencies such as Center for Disease Control and Prevention, VA Cooperative Study, and the National Institute of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She has also obtained funding from Bristol-Myers-Squibb, Gilead Pharmaceuticals, and Upjohn Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Pachucki has written over 20 journal articles.
