PROFILE

Dr. Patwardhan is a Biomedical Engineer, Rehabilitation Research and Development at Hines VA Hospital and Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center. His research program concentrates on the biomechanics of the spine including the mechanics of bone and soft tissue in spinal osteoporosis. Dr. Patwardhan has funded his research through grants from VA Rehabilitation Research and Development.
