PROFILE

Dr. Singh is Associate Chief of Staff for Academic Affairs and Chief, Endocrinology Section at North Chicago VA Medical Center. He also holds the appointment of Professor of Medicine at Finch University of Health Sciences The Chicago Medical School. Dr. Singh’s research focuses on alcoholism and diabetes. Dr. Singh has participated in several research clinical trial studies that test new pharmaceuticals for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. He has received funding for his research from many sources including, Genetech, Inc., Marion Merrill Dow, Takeda Laboratories, National Institutes of Health, and VA Cooperative Studies. Dr. Singh is the author of many scientific publications. He is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians.
