PROFILE

Dr. Tobin is Director, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Hines VA Hospital and Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Anesthesiology at Loyola University Medical Center. His research program focuses on control of breathing, respiratory abnormalities during sleep, and respiratory muscle function. He has funded his research through grants from the Austrian Medical Council, Bayer Corp., Swiss National Science Foundation, and VA Merit Review.
