The only purpose of the Chicago Association for Research and Education in Science (CARES™) is to enhance the health care of America’s Veterans by supporting the research and education of physicians, nurses, researchers and others at the Edward J Hines Veteran’s Administration Hospital and the North Chicago Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. From beginning to end our efforts are focused on enhancing the health and care of the United States Veterans we serve. This website is designed to provide information to multiple users including individual’s interested in supporting the health and wellbeing of all military veterans through research; research sponsors; VA researchers; and our employees. Congratulations also to Hines Researchers, Dale Gerding, Stuart Johnson and Susan Sambol. Their paper on C Diff was published in Nature online.
