The only purpose of the Chicago Association for Research and Education in Science (CARES™) is to enhance the health care of America’s Veterans by supporting the research and education of physicians, nurses, researchers and others at the Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital and the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. From beginning to end our efforts are focused on enhancing the health and care of the United States Veterans we serve. This website is designed to provide information to multiple users including individuals interested in supporting the health and wellbeing of all military veterans through research, research sponsors, VA researchers, and our employees.
