PROFILE

Dr. Soneru is a physician in the Geriatrics and Extended Care Center at Hines VA Hospital and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Her specialty is endocrinology, having completed a fellowship in 1985. Her current research interests include glucose metabolism in Diabetes Mellitus and insulin treatment in patients with Type II Diabetes. Dr. Soneru is the recipient of the 1987 American Diabetes Association Young Investigator Award.
