The CARES Board of Directors is proud to establish the Nicholas V. Emanuele Memorial Lecture Series in honor of Dr. Nick Emanuele, who passed away in December 2020 due to COVID-19. His pioneering work in neuroendocrinology and diabetes at Hines VA and Loyola University Medical Center led to more than 300 papers and book chapters. The Lecture Series will feature renowned biomedical clinicians and researchers who are making an impact on the lives of our Veterans, their families, and our communities.
